LOVE the fried rice here. Coming here is always a delight. Great customer service and fantastic food. I wish the portion sides were bit more compared to other restaurants but the food is amazing.

Awesome Grandma level taste and soft juicy textures. Chicken fried rice was sweet and simply the best I’ve had in a while. The salara (red coconut swirl bread) was was soft and juicy. The tennis rolls (similar to King's Hawaiian Rolls) were simply delicious, soft and chewy. The chinese cakes (black bean cakes) were the great old fashioned variety the way I remembered how the should be. The coconut buns (scones) were hearty and just simply flavorful. The pineapple tarts were jammy and sooo good. This place doesn’t look like much on the outside but is definitely a secret treasure in the neighborhood.

The best fried rice and chicken of all time definitely my go to. Customer service is a 10 the owner is always super nice. Beeen going here for 11 years now and always the best.

This is the best Guyanese food in Queens! I’ve recently been reading reviews that made me scared to try but when I drove down Liberty Ave the day I flew into NY for Christmas the place was packed and I had to see for myself. I understood why people complained about the lady at the front if I’m being honest however if you take the extra minute or two to understand her English isn’t great you’ll be able to compensate for that with speaking slower. The deals on the pastry were very affordable! Everything I tasted was so delicious that now I don’t live in NY I fly bread and rice back home. I feel like some of the people writing reviews aren’t giving this place an honest try. I’ll continue to buy food from Carifesta because it’s truly the taste of Guyana

The young lady at the front desk at the register she is so beautiful and she know that I call her all the time for the empanada oxtail. It is so delicious all the food is delicious but that right there is a 10 out of 10 must recommend I must call her every day

Best Guyanese Chinese food in Queens NY it's a must have whenever I visit NY and in Queens I always call and order then pick up food is delicious and I love the fried chicken. Do check them out whenever you're in the area

I gave this place 4 stars because the food is sooooo efffin good!!! A friend of mine bought me a plate of Chinese style chicken w/ fried rice and I just about tore it up!! The rice was like no other and the chicken was nice and fresh and fried to a crisp perfection. If you're looking for a place to go that will get you in and out with food done to perfection, please go here, you won't be disappointed. A bigger plus was how clean the place was and how extremely accomadating the staff was. I love it and the biggest factor for me was that the meat is HALAL!!! Yesss do here. Pictures up soon.

Loved it. I have been up and down White Plains Road in search of the best Jerk Chicken and had not found anything that held my attention since when Arawak used to be the spot to go to before they closed. Looking for something different to eat other than the traditional Friday night take out, I stumbled upon the Yelp review of Carifesta which offers a fusion of West Indian and Asian dishes. I cannot more highly recommend the Jerk Chicken Fried Rice meal. Rarely, do I order any dish that I do not put some type of hot sauce on. I am glad I tasted before adding any sauce because the rice was perfectly seasoned and moist. And the most exciting part of my Carifesta experience is that finally... finally I had the Spicy Jerk Chicken I was looking for. It is not drenched in sauce, and not dull in flavor... This Jerk Chicken has just the right amount of heat and kick. I will most definitely be back there. The only hard part is now going to be deciding to get the Jerk Chicken again, or experiment with another dish.
